Hey Everyone,
Well, i changed the voluntaryprogram, because in the school where we had to work, there was not so many things to do and it was a bit boring. So finally i went to another school with disabeld people from 14 till 60 years older. Their level was higher and there it was a really nice place. There was another nice voluntary worker, Lucy from england with me. There were as well more possibilities to do with them.I spent there the whole week now. In this place people come for doing drawing, have some music classes and have dance and movements lessons. Often we played in there free time (and thats more than they have lessons), games with them and circus acting... It was verry funny. As well they have a show for tourist who come to take a look at this place. They like to show about there school and about chinese culture. They do with the toerist as well a chinese calligraphy workshop. I made Together with Lucy and their teacher some little dance performance on the song do re mi from the sound of music. It was a bit difficult to explain in the beginning, because of the language... i dont speek chinese and they could nt speek english...but finally with bodylanguage and because lucy could speek some chinees, it was fine and nice. For this people is verry difficult to learn new movements,so we show them some simpel movements...hope they will remember it...lucky there is still the teacher! I think they will...
Even i can not understand this people, they come to talk with u, or doing some funny things. As well, they like to play this circus things and batminton, so lucky for this you dont need the language. i saw some acrobatic show this week. Well, it was imasing what they could do. WEll, if we tryed there in this school some diabolo or something, we still have a lot to learn!!
Tomorrow i go to Chengdu, see another place in china before i leave to india. They say its nice there. U can see the pandabeers, the mountains...so i will see. China is a verry save country to travel and people are nice and even without speeking the language, they always try to help you. So thats nice.
As you can see, some pictures of the performance...Bye!
