Last week of china and india

Hi Everyone,

I am in india now. I am in the south, so far away from the attacs, so dont worry, i am fine. I will stay as well in the south. Is 2000 km from Mumbai. But it is really sad what is happening there.

Here i only see now there is more police on the street, just they want to be sure and save.

Well, my last week in china was fine. I went to Chengdu where i visited the pandabeers and later i went to Leshang where i saw the big boedha, from a couple meters high, really, so big...and than i went to the mountain emai. It was verry cold up there and snowing, but a beautifull view. We walked further to the nature and is really beautifull up there. Normally we would go to the monkeys area, but is pitty, we hadnt the time anymore. But, on the other hand, maybe it was better, because monkeys try to steel food or your camera...So fur sure, now i didnt loose anything. There as well on the mountain, a boedha with 4 heads and some elephants. Its imazing sometimes. I was with a group of only chinees people. That was funny sometimes. They couldnt speek english and me now chinees, so we used bodylanguage... Funny, but they really took care of me and gave me a lot of food that i had to try from them...So, i was really full! They like to show their culture.

Finally i said goodbye to China and went to india. I had some troubles with my plain, but finally i could go to india. I had a stop in SriLanka and because of troubles with my plain, they brought me to a hotel, wich was near to the beach. That was a nice surprise! I could have a walk there before to catch my other plain. It was verry warm as well. After 3 plains i arrived in Coimbatore, in india, where i still am. India is an incredible country. I am here already one week now. I am visiting my sisters best friend here. She is here with her family and her husband work here. They live in a small village. I am staing in a guesthouse, one street farther than they do. The traffic here is too danger, so we have a car and a driver here. One street further, there is already a verry poor neberhoud. It is imazing how people live there. They really have to survive. The system here in india is so bad... The poor people havent anything. Dirthy clothes and houses.

The belgium family here where i am staying, they support a project for the weduws here. Because for woman allone, is difficult to survive here. So, they will make a concert and it will be at 6 december. They will build up a house and social live for the weduws. Me as well, will paint one of the womans for this project. Yesterday i went to their village. Is incredible how people live there... in bad conditions. But this is india....

The weduws used to follow theire husbands in india...Is a tradition, but now is forbitten, but still, people in the nord, sometimes they still burn this woman...is so sad....

The kids in the village, where all arround me and like to be on the picture. Everyone came to look at us, as they never saw white people...For them we where some attraction. But it was nice, to see the beautifull smile on the kids face. On the face of the old people, you really can see they had a poor live.

Tomorrow i start a project in the school where the children of my sisters friend going to school. I will do some creative things with the kids there. I will have 7 classes full of children...Wow!! But i will try to learn some new things to them and show some new materials. So, probably, I will make some jungle full of animals with them, 3- dimensional. I hope is going to be well, but i think it will be a lot of fun. Than the other week, i will plan to go on a travel in the south of india.

There is not always electricity here For so many people. In europe, we cant imagen this, but here is like this. As well u have to be patient with india people...they always say yes, but it can take so long time if u want something...but is a part of there culture i think. They also being verry friendly.

Sorry, but i dont find always the time or the possibility to write in english, so be patient...but you can always check!

Ok, i have to go now, Bye Annemie
